Janel and Eric’s classic, fun and romantic Miami wedding

Janel and Eric first met in high school during a camping trip. They both played (and still play) guitar and immediately bonded over music by the campfire (insert all the heart eyes here)! Well, believe it or not despite all the sparks on that camping trip, they parted ways, but fate had other plans! They kept running into each other at random places after that and chatted from time to time, but were still in the “friend zone!” They even ended up sitting one behind the other at a Jack Johnson concert (click the link for some of his greatest hits on youtube) without having planned it!! Well, fast forward six years later and they eventually started dating! After a year and 9 months of dating, Eric finally popped the big question with a surprise seaside engagement! “He told me we were going to have breakfast and blindfolded me in the car as we got close. The proposal was perfect; with the ocean in the background and an empty beach for miles,” is what Janel had to say about it! Of course besides the ring, he also brought along a bouquet of Janel’s favorite flowers, sunflowers, so come on, she couldn’t say no!

With their chemistry and compatibility planning their wedding and being together has been easy! “Picking out things with him is so easy because we have the same taste. From music to decor, to cars. We can talk about anything and have a good time. He says he loves my silliness. I’m the wild one, he’s the quiet one???? lol. I love that he pays attention to detail. Always remembers details about me like my favorite things. ”

They are truly the sweetest couple ever!

Their Miami wedding was classic, romantic, fun and heart-warming! It was filled with surprises and lots of dancing! I stayed until the very end and enjoyed every minute of it! As both their engagement and wedding photographer, it was my sincere pleasure and privilege to be able to capture this important part of their love story! Now, I will leave it to my pictures to tell the rest of the story! Enjoy!
