Engagement Session Ready, parte tres

Lastly, the most important thing you need to do to be ready for your engagement session is to just show up with a good attitude and follow your photographer’s prompts. A good professional photographer will be able to guide you through flattering poses and naturally bring out your personalities in each shot without making you feel awkward or uncomfortable.

An engagement session can serve as a good way to get used to your wedding photographer’s posing prompts and really make you feel more comfortable with a camera pointed at you. Once you get your photos back, it’ll build more trust between you and your wedding photographer, you’ll understand why that slight head tilt or looking at each other or whatever else he or she might ask you guys to do during the session that you might’ve questioned at the time.

Your engagement session, if nothing else should be a warm up for your wedding photos and a thorough introduction to your wedding photographer and the method to their madness, it’s what we in the industry call “the creative process.”

In summary, there isn’t too much to being “Engagement Session Ready,” just show up to the right location wearing cute coordinating outfits and be yourselves!
